  WHY WE DO THIS: This adventure came about, because we love the water (nautical) and a hammock swaying in the tropical breeze under the palms (tropical). We wanted to have that " tropical feeling" in our home and surroundings, (another reason we live in Florida), and we thought other "mainland islanders" and "land locked sailors" might feel the same way, so we started offering nautical and tropical stuff at the boat shows and now they say "web site" so here we are. Bay Island Lighthouse Inc. came to be in 1993. The idea for the name came from "The Bay Islands" off the coast of Honduras. The logo is of the island of Roatan, one of the Bay Islands. The lighthouse is just there and the palm trees are added because we like palm trees.
We don't have a little bit of everything, because we don't like everything. But, we sailed the high seas and traveled the world in search of "cool stuff" for our web site, (well, not really and it sounded to good to be true, anyway). But our products are sure to make you smile and feel "nautical" or dream about that "tropical island" paradise somewhere in your mind.
